Frequently Asked Questions
Whether you're buying a vehicle, bringing one in for service, or looking for parts, questions come up along the way. This FAQ covers common questions across sales, service, and parts so you know what to expect before you ever step through the door. This page will be updated over time as new questions come up, and it's meant to be a helpful starting point.
BUYING & OWNERSHIP
Is leasing or buying better for me?
It depends on how you plan to use the vehicle. Leasing often works well for drivers who want a new vehicle every 3-4 years, drive under about 15,000 miles per year, and prefer lower payments, while buying may make more sense if you drive more or keep vehicles long-term. The best option comes down to how you'll use the vehicle.
What fees at a dealership are required vs optional?
The only dealership fee charged on a vehicle purchase here is a $649 Administration fee. This covers paperwork, title processing, and compliance-related costs associated with completing the sale. Protection products or add-ons are optional and not required to purchase a vehicle.
GAP, WARRANTIES & PROTECTION
What is GAP insurance?
GAP insurance covers the difference between your loan payoff and what your insurance company pays if your vehicle is totaled or stolen. It's most useful when you put little money down or rolled negative equity into the loan. Not all GAP policies are the same, and some have payout limits.
What does a powertrain warranty cover?
A powertrain warranty covers the major components that keep your vehicle moving, primarily the engine, transmission, and drive axles. Some plans may include additional components depending on coverage level. It's designed to protect against major repair costs, not routine maintenance.
Can I cancel GAP or warranties later?
Yes. GAP and most warranty products can be canceled, commonly when you trade in your vehicle or if it's involved in a total loss. Any refund is typically prorated based on time, mileage, and whether the coverage was used.
What is NitroFill tire coverage?
NitroFill uses nitrogen tire inflation and may include tire repair or replacement coverage for a set period of time. Nitrogen helps tires maintain more consistent pressure in changing temperatures. It's optional and situation-dependent.
SERVICE & INSPECTIONS
Can I service my car here if I didn't buy it here?
Yes. We service vehicles whether or not they were purchased here. Service should be earned every visit, not tied to where you bought your vehicle.
What is included in the complimentary multi-point inspection?
Our complimentary multi-point inspection checks 172 components of your vehicle. This includes items like brakes, tires, suspension, and other safety-related systems. The goal is to identify anything unsafe or needing attention, not to create pressure.
Do I have to do all recommended services right away?
No. As part of the multi-point inspection, items are marked green (no attention needed), yellow (may need attention in the future), or red (recommended to address soon for safety or reliability). Advisors review future needs as they arise and reference the factory maintenance schedule.
With state inspections going away, can I still have one performed?
Yes. What were previously state inspections will be referred to as safety checks moving forward. If you come in for an oil change, a complimentary inspection that goes beyond a traditional state inspection is included.
